4. CONTACT INFO - Give a phone number in your ad, so people can call you. Phone contact is much more successful than email!

Buyers

Increase your chances of a smooth transaction with other members at Jamestown Classifieds Online by following these guidelines:

1. If possible, call the member's contact phone number. Talking with a seller allows you to get a good feel about the transaction.
2. Only deal with people who live in the area. DO NOT ACCEPT CASHIER'S CHECKS FROM OUT OF STATE PEOPLE. This web site is only to be used by resident who reside in Chautauqua, Cattaragus, and Warren Counties ONLY!
3. If a transaction smells fishy, it most likely is. Please report scams to Jamestown Classifeds through our Contact Form
4. Arrange to see the item before you buy . . .whenever possible .
